Please take note that the Common Test scheduled for Semester 2 will be rescheduled to a later date.
The new dates for the Common Test are:
1. 20 July - for Mathematics (instead of 7 July) 2. 24 July - for English (instead of 10 July) 3. 27 July - for Science (instead of 13 July) 4. 31 July - for Humanities ( instead of 17 July)
The postponement is to allow students ( especially those involved in the 10th Anniversary ) more time to revise their work. It is also an opportunity for teachers to cover more content areas and help students (especially those lagging behind) to catch up with their work.
Hope you have a fruitful holiday. Thanks again for being prompt in your reply and your cooperation is very much appreciated. Term 3 is starting and these are the things you should take note of.
(1) Within these couple of days before the school starts, school will send you via email or post the following:
(a) communication note regarding school reopening (b) Travel declaration form which MUST be submitted when school reopens on Monday 29 June.
(2) For students who came back from the following countries listed below after 22 Jun 2009 and after, you will be excused from school for part or the whole of week 1 when school reopens on 29 june 2009. As of 23 Jun, the affected countries are Argentina, Australia, Canada, Chile, Dominician Republic, Hong Kong SAR, Indonesia, Japan, Mexico, Panama, Philippines, Spain, Thailand, United Kingdom, USA.
(3) On 29 Jun 2009, students who are supposed to report to school MUST bring their SIGNED travel declaration and a working oral digital thermometer.
